Internships
Internship Opportunities*
College students who are currently attending an accredited college and have achieved junior status may apply for an internship opportunity at FYC. Students majoring in education or a social science are preferred; however, other majors will be considered. Participants must have good computer skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities and a passion for working with at-risk youth. Interns must be able to meet the minimum time commitment. FYC offers unpaid internships. A letter written by an advisor on school letterhead that confirms the student will receive credit for the internship must be on file at FYC prior to the intern’s start date.
Program Internship

They have opportunities to work in a variety of areas depending on their interest and skill level including; tutoring, instructing an enrichment activity, assisting a workshop instructor, working in the arts program, or engaging parents in our program.
